Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Provide coordination support to Business Manager/Business Director including working
closely with the studio to ensure client objectives are met, assisting as required with the
development of work orders, and providing administrative assistance to the business
team (including photocopying, sending faxes, copying files, shipping materials, calling
suppliers, billing and budget control reporting).

  • Track all projects as they move through various departments within the studio, providing status updates on required basis, and provide early warning indicators when committed schedules or processes may require adjustments.
  • Ensure positive client relations through direct interface (telephone interactions, query management, or feedback of Perennial information based on directions).
  • Provide quality assurance assistance to Business Manager/Business Director, to ensure initial deliverables meet quality specifications.
  • Assist in preparation of status reports, and initiate investigation into variances or anomalies on behalf of team lead (including follow-through where resolution has been identified to ensure necessary adjustments are made).
  • Provide assistance in monitoring actual hours and purchases vs. project plans and highlight potential issue areas to management.
  • Provide assistance in the preparation of status and production reports, attend weekly status meetings and present assigned work and time line requirements to ensure clear understanding of upcoming deadlines and resource requirements.
  • Assist in researching and compiling market and competitive activity analyses information.
  • Gather information on existing clients and new business clients; performing a 360 degree analysis of their business

    assigned levels.
  • Positive communication skills, written and verbal, used in maintaining continuous twoway
    understanding of needs and expectations.
  • Sound business judgment in understanding priorities and potentially sensitive issues
    requiring higher level Perennial involvement.


Education and Experience..

  • Post-secondary education in marketing and/or business management
  • Exposure to marketing and communications in a retail environment would be an asset
  • Fully proficient in all Microsoft office applications is a must (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous Experience in the design and/or construction industry an asset
