Reports To: Managing Director, The Finished Line

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Manage the process of project briefings, work standards and responsibilities and timelines as it relates to digital/print creative solutions

• Responsible for leading creative across a range of digital and print disciplines

• Deliver appropriate creative solutions

• Maintain design standards

• Generating ideas that determine the overall creative approach

• Ensures that client artwork is delivered to specification, on time and within budget

• Assists in the creation of mock-ups of art work for client approval

• Executes revisions in a timely manner

• Ensures that all work is error free

• Performs color correction, photo retouching and manipulation

• Prepares, names and files all images according to studio specifications

• Produces technically accurate and content-correct material within defined timelines to meet design expectations and requirements

• Stay knowledgeable of current design trends/ processes

• Ability to direct, lead and assist a small team of designers

• You have the ability to create meaningful design solutions that match client objectives, on time and on budget

• You are a creative leader with a knack for understanding production standards

• You look at alternative ways to approach solutions and ideas

• You are an awesome team player and value the input and feedback from others

• You are extremely proficient in programs such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and PowerPoint

 

 

Education and/or experience

• You should have a minimum of 10 years of graphic design experience with production art sensitivities. You will have experience in an advertising, marketing or creative studio environment

• You will have completed a degree or diploma in graphic design or a related field
