The Finished Line’s office is located in Bolton, Ontario, and this role will be based at the client site in Brampton, Ontario.
We’re looking for a Project Coordinator, with experience in print production for our large international client. S/he will coordinate the design and development of print and digital creative for a large group of clients and internal departments. S/he will coordinate with  creative operations and resourcing, to ensure excellence of creative product and operational effectiveness. Candidate will possess a keen eye for design, along with strong project management and communication skills.


Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Accountabilities 

• Supports Sales Teams, Marketing and other internal departments in assuring that projects are scoped and staffed effectively to maximize profitability and creative excellence

• Collaborates with a team of writer(s) and designer(s) to design, develop and execute creative work

• Development of work-back schedule for projects

• Streamline staffing, utilization, and capacity planning by evaluating the available creative resources (aptitude, work-style, and workload) against creative needs

• Analyzes new creative services business opportunities with sales team members and works to staff new business projects appropriately

• Provides periodic evaluations of utilization and productivity, and systematically reports these results to marketing leadership; ensures data accuracy

• Enforce process in order to maintain consistency

• Orchestrate the department’s production efforts to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner with high quality

• Select and communicate with external vendors regarding design projects as necessary


Key competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable creative services management role

• Previous hands-on design experience in-house creative services department or advertising agency

• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

• Able to guide team through design & creative process

• Good judgment of creative and marketing communication

• A strong sense of design, layout, typography, and branding for print and digital

• Ability to successfully organize, prioritize and complete multiple projects – planned and unplanned, with extreme attention to detail

• Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external resources

• Experience using online project management tool(s)
