So when Loblaw Companies Ltd. asked us to create a brand for their apparel offshoot - including a fresh new name, a stylish store design, and marketing materials that looked the part - we knew we had the sort of challenge we love.

How do you stand out when you're surrounded by one of Canada's best-loved brands? You become a store within a store. A retail experience in its own right. In Joe, we created an identity that doesn't just pop with fashion-forward energy, it stands alone in the wider context of the superstore environment. We designed an ownable colour scheme, we evolved the brand seasonally, and we affirmed the company's commitment to "of the moment" apparel. The outcome? A fancy store in the heart of Manhattan and a business well on the way to becoming a billion dollar brand.
